  • The client for this project is Carnethy Developments Limited who are an established industrial and logistics developer in the United Kingdom.

    The site is located within the Westfield Industrial Estate which is to the South West of Cumbernauld just off the M80. The Westfield Industrial Estate consists of large business of industrial use to the North, West and East as well as to the south beyond Westfield Road. The site is tree-lined to the East and South boundaries. Electrical pylon cables runs across the site from the North-East down to the South-East.

    The proposal includes 8 warehouses for storage and distribution varying in size from 940sqm to 1620sqm totalling approx. 11,065sqm with associated hardstanding areas, car parking spaces as well as access roads with the remainder of the site to be landscaped. The client holds strong sustainability values and the development is to comply with the relevant BREEAM certification requirements regards sustainability.

    The planning application is anticipated to be submitted in September 2022 and the works are planned to begin on site in March 2023 and targeted to be completed by April 2025.
