Mark Donaghy

Associate Director, Architect

Following the completion of Mark’s Masters of Architecture at the Queens University of Belfast in 2011, he moved to Brisbane, Australia to work with Shane Thompson Architects where he develop projects including the Byron Bay Eco Resort, a new corporate charter terminal for Brisbane as well as coordinating and editing the offices entries for the 2013 World Architecture Festival, two of which were shortlisted.

Mark returned to settle in Edinburgh where he accepted a position at a successful Edinburgh based architecture practice in 2014. During his career he has worked as part of a team delivering the conversion of the Donaldson’s School at the West End of Edinburgh as well as the project architect in delivering a high end one off house in Morningside.

Mark joined the practice in May 2018 and is currently delivering projects currently on site including Bruntsfield Terrace, Seaview Terrace and other projects at the various stages in development.

Mark is also a keen cyclist and runner.
