The refurbishment of the main reception area on the ground floor of this six storey office building in central London, was undertaken in conjunction with the extension and fit out of a 1500sqm penthouse commercial office.

We worked closely with the client to establish the brief for the project, which was primarily to provide a modern, light and welcoming entrance to the building, adopting contemporary forms and materials, and maximising the integration of natural daylight.

The new reception is now widely enjoyed by tenants from all floors not only as a transient entrance to the building, but has also been adopted as a friendly meeting area to welcome visitors. Its use as a backdrop for tenants’ television interviews pays testament to the satisfaction of its users.
