Marina Bar
Nanny Cay, South Marina

  • Location: Tortola, British Virgin Islands

    Client: Nanny Cay Marina

  • A casual, open-planned Marina Bar has been designed as core part of the South Marina development at Nanny Cay. The new bar will replace the ever popular "Peg Legs" bar situated within the existing marina and will provide a relaxed atmosphere with a mix of bar seating, shaded and open seating areas.  Soft landscaping and tree shading will be used to enhance the atmosphere of the area.

Situated centrally within the new South Marina development, the new Marina Bar will exude a laid-back yet vibrant atmosphere. The bar features an open layout to allow the ocean breeze to flow through, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience. Patrons can enjoy their drinks at the rustic wooden bar or relax in hammocks, beanbags and an upcycled boat, fitted with comfortable seating. The lighting will be warm and inviting, with a mix of string lights and lanterns casting a soft glow over the lively space. With reggae music playing in the background and the smell of fresh seafood wafting from the kitchen, this new Caribbean beach bar will be the beating heart of the new marina.

The area is expected to cover over 200 patrons during busy periods and accommodation for up to 5 staff, bar, refrigeration and storage facilities are also incorporated into the design.
