Swimming Pool
Nanny Cay, South Marina

  • Location: Tortola, British Virgin Islands

    Client: Nanny Cay Marina

  • The Nanny Cay South Marina development will host a multipurpose leisure area which will contain a large swimming pool of 4000 sqft, incorporating a lap pool with two 20m lanes.

The contemporary swimming pool design embraces a minimalist aesthetic, with clean lines and simple geometric shapes taking centre stage. An infinity edge, shallow lounging area, suspended hammocks and beach-style entry have been included, adding a sense of luxury and relaxation to the space. Integration with the surrounding landscape is key, creating a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors. Materials such as natural stone, and timber decking are proposed to evoke a modern yet traditional feel. Energy-efficient systems, such as solar heating and LED lighting, will be explored to enhance sustainability.

Overall, the design seeks to combine aesthetics, functionality, and environmental consciousness to create a stylish and inviting outdoor oasis.

The pool area will be made available to marina guests and local residents. Other facilities such as a pool plant room and storage for towels, cleaning and pool equipment has also been incorporated into the design.
